Le Lanternon occupies a building dating to 1885, a 19th-century property restored with original decor and architecture. The house's top-floor lantern tower offers 360° panoramic views of Saint-Martin-de-Ré and the sea. Guests reach the tower via two steep staircases, and can reserve time there to watch the sunset with a drink from the bar.
